The Vicenza area and the wine producing

The Berici Hills extend southwards from Vicenza over a vast area, enclosed by the mild
climate of the Adriatic and the majestic Alps in the north east of Italy.
The almost mythical origins of these ancient hills were created by the warm waters, now
found in the tropics, and the volcanic activity spumante in italia that formed the landscape we admire today.
Together with the temperate sea climate and the protection of the mountains, the result is
a visually stunning panorama, where the work of man, and particularly winemaking, has
left an important foot-print, while still preserving nature’s charm.
Wines in this area are in general warm, smooth, fresh, decisive and flavourful wine; it
perfectly embodies the typical regional terroir where it is born, with a high mineral content
and a mild climate. Grown far from the excessive champagne process wine heat of the plains, the wine is aged in
the perfect conditions, at the right tempo. The perfect union of terroir and vine provides
for a low, yet prestigious yield. The unique quality is reflected in its crisp, straw-yellow
color and the limpidity that transforms into luminosity. A sparkle and vivacity, accentuated
by a subtle but lingering perlage.
Then there is the typical produce: a rich array of gastronomic delights that conserve and
celebrate the flavours of history, such as oil, cherries, cheese, prosciutto and truffles, not
forgetting excellent wines and Spumante.
Our family, intrinsically tied to tradition and respect for all good things, wants to pass on
our taste for hospitality, even if only in a prosecco sparkling wine virtual manner.
